The best way to change your order is to contact us at If an order is shipped, we won't be able to make any changes to your order and you would need to place a new order.

Rest assured, we only include a packing slip in the shipment and our packing slips never include pricing information.

Yes, just send us an email at and we will change your address as long as the shipping label has not been created. However, if the order has already shipped, we won’t be able to change the address. If your order goes to the wrong address and gets returned to the sender, we are happy to reship to the correct address, but you will be responsible for the return (reshipment or additional) shipping costs. Also, any second shipments will not be subsidized and will be charged at actual shipping  costs.

You may cancel your order as long as the shipping label has not been printed. In the event that the package has already left our warehouse, you may request a refund by returning the items back to us per our refund policy.

Please log into your account by clicking the header menu item labeled 'My Account.'  Once logged in, you will see your orders along with the shipping information for shipped orders.   For shipped orders, you can click on the tracking number provided to see the shipment updates. 

We also send order confirmation, order updates and shipping confirmation emails to you at the email provided on the order for every order.  At times, these emails may go to your your spam folder so please check there for these updates as well.

Yes, you can! Just click into  your “Cart” and you will see a message box with the following prompt: “Is this a gift? Enter a special message for the recipient here”. 

Please note that the gift note will be printed on the packing slip and will not be handwritten.

Yes, please send an email to and we will add the note for you. However, if the shipping label has already been printed we will not be able to do this.


Orders are processed in the order we receive them unless you've chosen expedited shipping.  Typically, orders are shipped within 1-2 business days of placing the order. You can track your order status on My Account page & also signup for alerts on a courier website.

Carrier tracking would provide you with up-to-date information about your package. If it gets stuck or never gets delivered to you, please contact our support and we can assist you with the next steps.

Chances of receiving incorrect item(s) is very rare but it could happen. Please take pictures of a product and contact us at to assist with the resolution of the issue.

Sometimes shipping carriers will mark packages as being delivered but not actually deliver them until the next day. So, please allow 1 - 2 additional days to see if your order arrives. Please also try checking with your neighbors and your postal delivery person. If you are still unable to track down your package, please let us know by sending your name and order number to  with a description of the issue you’re encountering and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

We offer a flat $5.99 shipping fee for all orders under $100 (before tax). All orders over $100 (before tax) are eligible for free shipping with the code “FREESHIP”. Please note that only one coupon code may be used on any given order. See further details on our shipping policy here.


Orders placed with paid expedited shipping methods before 12PM EST, will be shipped the same day and orders placed after the cut-off will be shipped the next business day.

Orders can be paused, skipped or canceled anytime after the first order. 

First, click on the account login icon, as identified in the brown rectangle in the image below or on the 'My Account' menu to login to your account..  Once logged in you will see the 'Manage Subscriptions' link, as shown in the red rectangle below.  From there you should be able to adjust, pause, cancel, etc. your subscription order. Our concentrate has a six-month shelf life from the date of production and should be stored at room temperature. Upon opening, the concentrate should be refrigerated and consumed within 14 days.

We recommend storing blends and spices in an airtight container at room temperature in a cool, dark place to prolong the life of the Chai! Please do not store in direct sunlight.

Yes, we offer two caffeine free blends, All Chai’d Up Caffeine Free and Lavender Nights, made with Rooibos leaves instead of black tea. And we also offer a decaf blend made with Green Tea, Niligri Hills.  We currently do not have any caffeine-free products based on decaffeinated black tea leaves.

We always recommend using a stainless steel pot for better heat conduction and for perfecting the Double Boil.

Our spices are key to our blends and we promise, you will be able to tell the difference immediately.  From the moment you open our blends, you will be greeted by the robust aroma and the beautiful colors of our spices.  Most of our spices have been hand picked directly from plantations in Kerala, India. 

To us, it was important that the ingredients we used in our blends came from the local plantations and farmers that take pride in their work to ensure quality and natural cultivation of these spices.  With no pesticides or artificial flavors, rest assured, you are enjoying the best nature has to offer!

Returns & Exchanges

We want to ensure your satisfaction with our products.  If you are unsatisfied with our product for any reason, please contact us at and initiate a return or exchange as needed within 30 days of receiving your order. 

Return shipping will be paid at the customer’s expense. Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed per your request.   We will notify you once this has been completed through email. The Chai Box will refund the value of the goods returned but will not refund the value of any actual subsidized shipping paid.

Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. All major credit card providers generally take 5-7 business days to process your refund before it appears in your bank account.
