On my first trip to visit my husband’s family in Kerala, India, I discovered the true magic of the region. I had never tasted mangoes as sweet or understood why coconut was such a cherished ingredient until that visit. The flavors were unforgettable, and they stayed with me long after I left. Inspired by those experiences and Kerala’s beautiful monsoon season, I created Sweet Monsoon. With the tropical richness of coconut and the sweetness of mango, this blend embodies the warmth and comfort of sipping chai while listening to the rain. It’s a taste of Kerala in every cup.

How to Make Chai

Stovetop Method

  1. Bring 1 cup water + 1 cup of milk to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add 4 tsp of Chai blend. Simmer on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Bring to another boil.
  3. Strain into a cup. Add honey or sugar if desired. Enjoy!

Steeping Method

  1. Pour 1 cup of boiling water into a mug.
  2. Add 2 tsp of Chai blend.
  3. Steep tea for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the steeper or infuser.
  5. Add milk, honey and/or sugar if desired. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this blend. It is smooth and full of flavor. I don't need too much honey because it is so perfectly blended and the mango & coconut provide a little extra sweetness. I've tried making my own "tropical" blends, but nothing comes close to Sweet Monsoon. It's perfect in the afternoons.
