Chai Coquito
This recipe comes from a member of our Chai Team - Addy! She gave the classic Puerto Rican coquito a flavorful twist by infusing it with our Coconut Mela blend what we like to call "Chaiquito".
Coquito, often called “Puerto Rican eggnog,” is a creamy, coconut-based holiday drink traditionally made with condensed milk, coconut milk, rum, and warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. By blending it with the spiced notes of Coconut Mela, you get a drink that's both comforting and festive—the perfect way to celebrate the season!
INGREDIENTS
-
6 ounces of Premium Puerto Rican Rum infused with 3 tsp of Coconut Mela (let it sit for 24 hrs in the Rum and strain)
-
1 can of Condensed Milk
-
1 can of Evaporated Milk
-
1 can of Real Cream of Coconut
-
2 tsp of Powder Cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients in a blender.
Add more rum or cinnamon to taste.
Serve in a short glass with ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Cheers!
